Five of your ten pages share the exact same Google listing

This review is about what your website brings in, and what stops it. We went through the site, your search rankings and your reviews. The main findings: your entire site ranks for four searches in all of Ireland, and your homepage, contact page, gallery, services page and about page all carry the identical title. Your homepage also sends Google a mixed signal about its own address, which lines up with the two searches you do rank for showing split, historic rankings under two different web addresses. There are smaller things too. A live reviews widget shows 37 reviews, we had 67 on file. It's all detailed below, with what to do about each one.

01 The rankings

Four searches in all of Ireland, and the rankings show signs of a split homepage

Your site ranks for four searches in all of Ireland. Two of them are the same two searches showing up twice, once from your homepage and once under a second address the historic data still credits separately.

solar panels kilkenny170Your one real ranking, from kdsmartenergy.com/.6th

What one of those clicks is worth

"Solar panels kilkenny" is a low-competition search worth ranking cleanly for, and "smart solar" carries another 110 searches a month that currently reaches nobody. Both show signs of being split across two addresses that should be credited as one.

Your homepage's own code tells Google the correct address for itself is kdsmartenergy.com/home/. Visit that address directly, though, and it forwards you straight back to kdsmartenergy.com/. That's a mixed signal: the page names one address as correct while sending visitors to the other. It lines up with why the same two searches show up twice in the historic rankings.

Bottom line: The site's own homepage is sending Google two different answers about its own address.
02 The specifics

What a visitor actually finds when they arrive

Conflicting
Your homepage names the wrong address as correct
kdsmartenergy.com/'s own code declares kdsmartenergy.com/home/ as its official address. Visit /home/ directly and it forwards you straight back to /. Google gets two different answers about which one to trust, which lines up with the only two searches you rank for showing split, historic rankings under both addresses.
Duplicate
Five pages share one Google listing
The homepage, contact page, gallery, services page and about page all carry the exact title "KD Smart Energy Ltd | Solar Energy Company | Kilkenny." Google can't tell them apart, and neither can a visitor scanning search results.
Weak
Only four searches rank in all of Ireland
You have real, named project work, installs in Tramore, Cork and elsewhere, and none of it shows up in the rankings. The site's search footprint is far smaller than the real business behind it.
Conflicting
Your live review count doesn't match what's on file
The site's own widget shows "5.0 based on 37 reviews." The number we had on file was 67. Worth confirming the true current count so it's right wherever it's used.
Worth noticing

The small items on this list are edits: retitle four pages, confirm a number, fix which address the homepage names as correct. With only four searches ranking in all of Ireland to begin with, it's worth deciding between patching the current setup, or building the site once around a single, clean homepage with real pages for Kilkenny and the areas you already work in.

Bottom line: The real work, the installs and the reviews, is genuine. The site underneath it isn't showing Google a clean structure.
03 Done for you

The fixes, already written out

Each fix below is ready to hand to whoever manages the site.

Fix 1 · New text for your Google listing
This is what people see when KD Smart Energy comes up on Google today, next to what it should say. The current description is just the title repeated, with no real information for a searcher.
What Google shows now

KD Smart Energy Ltd | Solar Energy Company | Kilkenny
KD Smart Energy Ltd | Solar Energy Company | Kilkenny
What it should show
https://kdsmartenergy.com
Solar Panel Installers Kilkenny | KD Smart Energy
Solar PV installation across Kilkenny and the South East. SEAI registered, with real project photos from Tramore, Cork and beyond.
Fix 2 · Fix the homepage's own address signal
Point the homepage's declared address at itself, so Google gets one consistent answer instead of two.
The address the homepage tells Google is correct → change from kdsmartenergy.com/home/ to kdsmartenergy.com/ (the address that actually serves the page)
Fix 3 · Give four pages their own titles
Each of these currently shares the homepage's exact title. A distinct title tells Google, and a visitor, what's actually on the page.
/contact-us/ → "Contact KD Smart Energy | Kilkenny Solar Installers"
/gallery/ → "Our Solar PV Installations | KD Smart Energy Gallery"
/our-services/ → "Solar PV, EV Chargers & Heating Upgrades | KD Smart Energy"
/about-us/ → "About KD Smart Energy | Solar Installers, Kilkenny"
Bottom line: All three fixes above can be pasted in within a couple of hours.
04 The plan

What to do and when

Start at the top. The first two blocks are edits to the current site. The bottom block is the structural work.

This month
the structural work
Add real location pages. Kilkenny plus the counties your Tramore and Cork projects already prove you cover.
2-3 days
Replace the stock hero image with a real installation photo. The one real photo already on the site, a fitter on a roof, is stronger than anything generic.
half day
Decide the platform question first. If you're merging the homepage, retitling five pages and adding location pages anyway, price both options: patching the current site, or building a new one around a single clean structure from the start. The second is often less work, not more.

05 What it adds up to

Run your own numbers on it

Your two real searches add up to

280 searches every month, "solar panels kilkenny" and "smart solar" combined.

22 visits a month currently arrive, all from just one of them.

The other search, 110 people a month, reaches nobody at all.

That gap isn't traffic you've lost, it's a real search sitting untouched while the site sends Google a mixed signal about its own address. Fixing that signal and giving the site's own pages their own titles is small work. You know your close rate on a solar enquiry and what a job is worth. Run that against 280 real searches a month once the site stops confusing Google about which address to trust. That's the sum worth doing on your side.

Bottom line: Two real searches exist. Right now the site is fighting itself over both of them.
Why sooner beats later

With only four tracked searches and an Authority Score of 10, this site has very little room to lose ground before it has none left to stand on. Competitors who fix a duplicate title or a mixed address signal move ahead of this position quickly, since the bar in Kilkenny is not currently high.
